Due New Plymouth January. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa is due to arrive from Onehunga at 5.30 o'clock this morning. The vessel will remain in port until to-morrow (Saturday) night, sailing for Onehunga at 8.30 WESTMEATH ARRIVES. The liner Westmeath arrived from Dunedin 1 yesterday morning to continue loading for English west coast ports. She was boarded by the harbormaster (Capt. W’aller) at 7.40 ajm and came alongside the wharf at 8.15. It was low-water at the time and the vessel was drawing 21ft. 3in. aft and 16ft. lin. forward. Her gross registered tonnage Is 8129 tons, and length 484 ft., so that she is as large a vessel as has been berthed here yet. Her other measurements are breadth 56ft. and depth 30ft. 6in. Captain Cain, D.S.C., is in command. The last time he visited this port was in April, 1914, when he was in comof the Union Company's Kaitangata. Associated with him are the mollowing officers: Chief, Mr. Kemp; second. Mr. Bryant; third. Mr. Pritchard; chief engineer, Mr. Jones; second, Mr. Cairns; third, Mr. Hutton; fourth, Mr. McDonald; fifth, Mr. Thackery; sixth, Mr. Walker; seventh, Mr. Bissett; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. Napten ; second, Mr. Brown; wireless operator, Mr. Clune; chief steward, Mr. Hall. The cargo to be loaded here consists of 30,000 freight careases of frozen meat from the Waitara works of Messrs. Thos. Borthwick and Sons, Ltd. CORINNA’S MOVEMENTS. The £orinna arrived at Wellington yesterday and will sail either to-day or tomorrow for New Plymouth to load dairy produce for transhipment at Wellington. THE TRELEVAN. In continuation of her voyage from Port Arthur, the Texas Oil Cwnpany’s Trelevan should reach Wellington to-day. Upon completing the discharge of the Wellington portion of her cargo of case oil, the vessel will come to New Plymouth. THE KATKOURA. The Kaikoura, which arrived at Auckland on Monday from Liverpool, via Panama, is due at Wellington on Monday next to discharge 2710 tons of cargo. MAKURA’S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company announces that the Makura. is to leave Auckland at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 30, for Sydney. KAIAPOI’S MOVEMENTS. In continuation of her voyage from Adelaide and Melbourne, via Auckland, the Kaiapoi is due at Wellington to-morrow. THE RIMU IN TROUBLE. A telegram from Auckland states that the steamer Rimu, on the voyage to Onehunga and Kawhia, after crossing the Manukau bar, encountered terrific seas which submerged her repeatedly. The deck cargo was wasted away and considerable damage was done in the forward hold. When she reached Kawhia there was four feet of water in the hold. Temporary repairs were effected there.
