FIRES.
CHEESE FACTORY DESTROYED. By Telegraph.—Press Association Foxton, Dec 22. The Oroua Downs cheese factory was totally destroyed by fire on Tuesday night. The cause of the outbreak Is unknown. Cheese in store to the value of £2240 was destroyed. The insurance is £5OOO in the South . British Insurance Co. The loss- above the insurance is heavy. Temporary creamery premises are being ere-, ted to deal with tuppLe.-s’ milk, while other suppliers will scud their milk to Taikorea cheese .actory, some miles distant.
