INDIA TO BRITAIN. By Telegraph-—Press Assn Copyright. Received Dec. 21, 8.30 p.m. London, Dec. 20. Marconi has offered the Government of India direct wireless communication between India and Britain and elsewhere. He is willing either to construct a station at his own expense within a year and conduct- an efficient commercial service, or build a station and conduct the service on a joint account with thS Indian Government on a similar basis to that approved by Australia. The cost of the station is estimated at £40,000. exclusive of patent rights. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
