Marconi has offered the Government of India direct wireless communication between India and Britain and elsewhere. He is willing either to construct a station at his own expense within a year and conduct- an efficient commercial service, or build a station and conduct the service on a joint account with thS Indian Government on a similar basis to that approved by Australia.
