The first- of the southern division banner mutches In Hawera was played on the Hawera Club’s green on Wednesday, when H«wera A met Hawera B. The result was a win for the B section by 123 to IIS. The first inter-club match of the season was plaved on Park’s new green on Wednesday afternoon between Manaia and Park, resulting in a win for Manaia by 101 to 84.
