TARANAKI CHRISTMAS MEETING. ACCEPTANCES TO-NIGHT. Horse-owners q.nd trainers are given a final reminder that acceptances for the first day of the Taranaki Jockey Club’s Christmas meeting close to-night at 9 p.in. - * Mr. H. Coyle’s weights appear to have given general satisfaction, and acceptances should be very numerous. Mr. A. Vincent, will do the starting at the meeting, and Mr. J. Cameron will occupy the judge’s box. The secretary, Mr. E. P. Webster, has all arrangements right up to the moment, and a very successful meeting is assured. HORSES RE-HANDICAPPED. Ben Bolt has been re-fcandicapped at. 9.7 for the Grafton Hurdles; Prince Charleroi at 6.12 for the Christmas Handicap at the A.R.C. meeting. i At the Waipa meeting for the Cup, Goldplane is at 7st., and for the Ohaupo Handicap Goldplane 7.5, Arran 8.3, Nighttime 7.3. For the Flying Handicap Arran Is 7.7 and Nighttime 6.10, Kihi Kihi and Arran 8.7, Shortland 8.0, Orakura and Princess Charming 7.12. Other re-handicaps for the Auckland meeting are: Cup, Aureate 7.0, Christmas, Hepta 7.0; Nursery, Moorland 8.0.
