GERMAN REPARATIONS.
OPINION IN GERMANY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 14, 5.5 p.m. Berlin, Dec. 13. Dr. Rathenau has returned. It is understood that though he brought no definite agreement he was assured that the Chancellor of Britain was willing to reconsider Germany’s ability to pay reparations. It is expected here that Britain will ultimately agree to a moratorium in preference to granting a long-term loan.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
