DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. By Telegraph —Press Association Blenheim, Dec. 13. William Thomson, aged .55, a married man, fell dead in a dray when leaving work last night from heart failure. DROWNED IN A RIVER. Wellington, Dec. 13. Henry Pace, a single man between 30 and’ 40 years of age, supposed to be a native of England, ’"as drowned at Wainuiomata this morning. He was in charge of a horse and vehicle carrying milk to the factory and was about to cross the Wainui River when the vehicle upset and the horse, cart and driver were thrown into the river which was in flood. The body has not been recovered.
