SITTING AT- WAITARA. Mr. A. M. Mowlem, S.M., presided over Tne monthly sitting of the Magistrate’s Court at Waitara yesterday. In undefended civil actions judgment was given for plaintiff by default as follows: Gordon Fraser v. Robert Erickson, £34 8s Id (costs £4 8s 6d) ; Clifton County, Council v. Frederick W. Storey, £ll 7fi (costs £2 19s); same v. John Holdsworth, £46 17s (costs £4 3s 6d) ; Charles R. Stead v. Francis J. 11. Andrews, £2 19s (costs Ils); R. H. Pepperill v. AV. de Ridder, costs only (13s), claim having been paid; Edward Reynolds v. Tauria, £1 Is 7d (costs £1 4s)’; Matthew Campbell v. George Farquhar, £5 Ss (costs £1 10s 6d); Thomas R. Ford v. George Farquhar, £5 9s 6d (costs i £1 10s 6d).
