SYDNEY WOOL SALES. ADVANCE IN PRICES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 12, 10.30 p.m. Sydney. Dec. 12. The ninth series of wool sales lias commenced. Competition is general in all classes except lambs’ wool. Prices in some instances increased 10 per cent.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. LONDON MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram' from their London house, under date December 9: — Butter.—New Zealand salted, £8 14s to £9 2s per cwt. Arrivals and shipments afloat are neavy, and market Is depressed. Cheese.—White, £4 18s to £5 4s per cwt.; colored, £4 16s to £5 per cwt. Market dull.
