GERMAN BANK FAILS
SPECULATION IN MARKS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyrigtt. Received Dec. 8, 8.20 p.m. Berlin, Dec. 8. The Palatinate Credit Bank has failed. It was one of the best known in Southern Germany. It is believed depositors will not suffer, as, apart from the bank’s big business reserves, the Deutsche and Rhenish Banks propose to cover depositors. The failure is due to the manager speculating in marks.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
