FLOWER SHOW.

TO-DAY’S ATTRACTION. The summer show under the auspices of the New Plymouth Horticultural Society will be held in the Workers’ Social Haff to-day. A record number of entries. over 600, will fill all the available space in the hall, and it is expected the quality of the blooms and the vegetable* will exceed any previous standard. Every class has filled remarkably well, and new records are the rule. In addition to the competitive classes special displays will be sent from the best gardens, and there will be many interesting exhibits of rare excellence. The show will be open from I p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
