' WOMEN’S FOOTBALL. J INDIGNATION AT TREATMENT.. Loncron, Dec. 7. Women footballers are most indignant at the Official action of the Football Association debarring them from playing on club grounds. The association’s resolution expressing a strong opinion that football is quite unsuitable for females and ought to be discouraged is regarded with particular resentment. The prohibition will not prevent them continuing playing. They state that their games are not. frivolous, and that they are certainly not prejudicial to health. They have already realised £lOO,OOO for charity.
