Values to 'farmers are, of course, according to quality, and may be quoted at from 3s Sd to 3s Gd for heavy undressed. However, it is considered there is now very little in farmers’ hands. Oats are weaker if anything, and 2s 6d at country stations about, covers offers. The duty on Australian oats and a further drop of 8s a ton on freights Home have made the future brighter in one respect.
