TARANAKI INTER-CLUB MATCHES. DRAW FOR FIRST ROUND. Inter-club competitions will be held m Taranaki this year under a new system. The clubs competing have been divided into .'wo grades, A and B, and the D grade competition has been further divided into two sections, north and south. The winners of the nortt and south sections will play off to decide the winner in the B grade, and this winner will have the right to challenge the loser in the A grade. The first round in the A grade will be played on Saturday, December 17. In the B grade matches will be played on the halfholiday of tl'e travelling team, but this rule •may be amended subject to agreement by the captains of the teams concerned. This will be the only round before Christmas, the other rounds commencing about the middle of January. Club secretaries must send their teams to the secretary of the Taranaki Association at New Plymouth at. least three days before a fixture. The draw for -,ne first round is:— A GRADE. Hawera, v.
