WOOL SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright.. London, Dec. 2. The improvement In the Berlin exchange and the prospects of stability are reacting at. Bradford, where top-makers are now more independent in the expectation of better prices from Germany later. B.A.W.R.A. will show and offer for sale 2000 bales of wool at Bradford on December 20. If the experiment is successful it will be repeated periodically. New York, Dec. 2. The Government auctioned seven million pounds of wool at Boston. Australian super forties combing, practically free, brought 29 cents, clean, high quality super lambs 46 cents, ordinary, slightly faulty 44’s quality, 31 cents, against no bid at the November sales. New Zealand super 44’s to 46's, bellies, brought 29 cents, clean 44’s medium carding 27 cents, 40's, medium hoggets 35 cents. No domestic greasies were offered. WAIKATO STOCK MARKET. The Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report:— At Hamilton on Thursday, December 1, wo had a smaller yarding of cattle and sheep than at recent sales, though pigs were again strongly represented. Beef was beiow last week’s rates, making to £7 12s 6d for best steers, lighter weights to £5 15s, light weight cows to £3 4s. The store cattle generally were rough and inferior sorts, but practically the whole yarding changed hands at unchanged values. Empty cows made to 30s, 2-year steers 325, 2-year dairy heifers, Holstein £5 7s 6d, Shorthorn £2 15s to £4. yearling heifers, Jersey cross £4 ss, others £2 to £2 12s 6d, small 30s to 355. Sheep also declined on last week's rates, fat wooily wethers making to 16s 3d, shorn to 12s Id, woolly ewes to 10s 3d, shorn 8s Id to 9s. Pigs were also somewhat easier in value. Baconers made to £3 6s, porkers 37s to £2 10s, slips 17s 6d to £1 7s 6d, weaners 5s to 10s.
