There is a strange deadlock regarding 348 Armenian refugees on board a French steamer which has arrived from Silicia. They were refused permission to land and they are unwilling to leave on the French boat, fearing to return to Silicia. They drew revolvers and threatened the crew and hindered the work of lhe engine-room. The matter is in the hands of the French authorities.
