Owing to slight boiler trouble the Rarawa did not arrive at New Plymouth until 9.45 a.m. yesterday. The vessel brought passengers and 160 tons of cargo. She sailed on the return trip at 8.30 p.m. CORINN.A SAILS.
The Corinna completed loading a large consignment of dairy produce yesterday and sailed for Wellington at 5.45 p.m. The total cargo lifted was 18,287 boxes of butter and 3019 crates of cheese which will be transhipped to the liner Plalro. NGAKUTA TO-DAY. Latest advices state that the Ngakuta is new expected to arrive at New Plymouth at 6 a.m. to-day. The vessel has 300 tons of cement to discharge. KAHIKA FROM SOUTH. The Kahika left Dunedin at 10 o'clock on Thursday night for New Plymouth via me usual ports. She is due here on about Wednesday. NORDDEUTSCHER LLOYD LINE. A cable from Berlin says the Norddeutscher Lloyd shipping line, which doubled its capital earlier in the year, now proposes to increase it from 350 to 600 million marks. Owing to the of the mark the Government compensation for war losses is inadequate, and will only replace one-tenth of the previous fleet. WESTMEATH’S PROGRAMME. The Westmeath was timed to leave Auckland yesterday for Wellington, and should arrive there to-morrow. MOVEMENTS OF THE WAIMATB. The Waimate is expected at Wellington from Auckland on Monday to discharge ‘he Wellington portion of her Liverpool cargo. THE KAHIKA. The Kahika, due at Wellington on Tuesday from Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton, will sail later in the day for New : Plymouth. MARAMA REPORTED. The Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Marama, en route from San Francisco, !s now due at Wellington on December 19. The vessel is to continue her voyage to Sydney the same day. THE SYDNEY SERVICE. Tho Tahiti left Sydney yesterday for Wellington, where she is due on Tuesday. The vessel will sail the same evening in continuation of her voyage to San Francisco, via Rarotonga and Papeete. The IJlUnaroa is to sail from Sydney for Wellington to-day, and should arrive there on Wednesday. The Maheno, bound from Sydney to Auckland, left the former port on Thursday with passengers, mails and general merchandise. The vessel Is due at Auckland to-morrow. PALOONA DUE MONDAY. The Paloona, which was expected to leave Melbourne on Wednesday, is due at Wellington on Monday, and will sail in the evening on the return voyage, via Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff.
WAIHORA AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company’s Waihora, which left San Francisco on November 5 for New Zealand ports, arrived at Auckland on Thursday evening. From the northern port the vessel will proceed on Monday to Napier, and thence on to Wellington, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. The W’aihora brought 308 bags of mail for New Zealand, and is due at Wellington on Thursday. RUAHINE REPORTED. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received advice that the R.M.S. Ruabine, en route from Southampton to Wellington, left Panama on November 28, and is due at Wellington on December 22. She has passengers for New Zealand, and cargo for Wellington and Lyttelton. PORT KE-MELA'S MOVEMENTS. Hie Port Kembla will now leave Auckland at noon to-day, and Is due- at Wellington on Monday afternoon. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
