PROPERTY SALE.
THE “GLEN ALMOND” ESTATE. GOOD PRICES REALISED, Sections in the “Glen Almond” estate. New Plymouth, the property of Mr. H. Greig, were offered at public auction yesterday by Messrs. Newton King, Ltd. A good Vai of interest was taken in the sale and there was a large attendance of buyers. The estate has a frontage to Devon Street and Belt Road. Eighteen sections were offered, of which nine were sold, good prices being realised. “The Glen,” a wellknown and attractive section of two acres, stood at £525 when in, and other sections not sold included the homestead. Top price of the sections which changed hands was realised for lot No. 22 of 1 rood and 33 perches, which was secured by Mr. J. Christoffel for £575. The auctioneer was Mr. K. Kirk. Details of the purchases are: No. 3 section (1 rood 14 perches).— R. C. Hughes £2"5. No. 4 (1 rood 19 perches).—H. Petersen, £4OO. No. 5 (1 rood 6 perches). —J, Christoffel, £2BO. No. 6 (1 rood 5 perches). —R. A. Large,. £250. No. 7 (1 rood 26 perches).—J. Christoffel, £4OO. No. 11 (quarter acre). —A. H. Hawkins (Wlaitara), £240. No.’s 18 and 19 (each 1 rood 38 perches )>—A. Burrell (Hawera), £260 each. No. 22 (1 rood 33 perches). —J. Christoffel, £575.
