AN OPEN LETTER.

TO THE CHILDREN OF NEW PLYMOUTH. (To the Editor.) S’ l *’ I make an appeal through your valuable columns to the children of New Plymouth and surroundings to bring me any toys or books they may have grown tired of before Father Christinas comes round again with a fresh supply. There are many children in the way-back places who never'' see pretty toys or brightly-lighted shops at < hristmas time, and we should not forget the sick children in hospital at this time, of the year. If gilts are left at the Victoria League rooms I will personally see that they are distributed.—l am, etc., ANN BURGESS, President Victoria League.
