EVERYBODY’S. LAST NIGHT OF “ROBBERY UNDER ARMS.” “Robbery Under Arms,” concluding to-night at Everybody’s, is a startling and vivid picture of Australia’s best loved romance. This is a story known to all. Two generations have loved and sorrowed for that bush gentleman, but outlaw, nevertheless, Captain Starlight, the man who never robbed women. This is a picture teeming with excitement from start to finish. The great expanse of bush, the gold field, the hold up of the gold escort, the duffing of over 1000 head of cattle, the sticking up of Knightly’s station, and Starlight’s wonderful last stand, when he paid to society the supreme penalty. The central figures in the picture are Captain Starlight, Aileen Marsden, Mrs. Marsden, Dick and Jim Marsden, Grace Starfield. Gen Marsden, and the faithful black boy Warigal. The box plans are at Collier’s, where intending patrons should reserve and be sure of a seat. THE PEOPLE’S. WILL ROGERS IN “JUBILO,” Good nature and kindliness bring their own reward in Will Rogers’ newest Goldwyn photoplay “Jubilo,” which will be presented at the People’s Theatre, beginning to-night. The original story was written by Ben Ames Wiliams, and the production was directed by Clarence G. Badger. In, this picture, the charm of the ex u cowboy and Ziegfeld Follies ■favorite finds full scope in the character of a misunderstood hobo. It is just the sort of role that Will Rogers is peculiarly fitted to bring to life. And his expert interpretation will prove to motion picture patrons that the apparent absence of the actor’s art is really the height of artistry. The “Diamond Queen,” gazettes, and comedy are also shown. THE MIDNIGHT PATROL. A SELZNICK SPECIAL SATURDAY. In order to get an idea of what a stupendous production “The Midnight Patrol” is one has to imagine a young and beautiful girl enslaved in the opium dens, held captive by a political boss, who rules the Chinese underworld. Imagine the daring of the blue-coated man who plunges alone into the haunts of vice to her rescue, telling his men if he is not back by twelve to call out “The Midnight Patrol.” Openihg with a sensational stoppage of a runaway, and the rescue of a frightened girl, the film shows the daring of the motor speed men in preventing an abduction by leaping from their cycles into a speeding car, and arresting the abductors, the fearlessness of one man in capturing a burglar, the dramatic rescue from a fire, and then, finally the plunge from the top a drawbridge into the Hudson River to the rescue of a drowning youngster. The box plans are now open at Collier’s.
