STOCK MARKET. * PRICES AT WESTFIELD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Westfield sales to-day beef was in fair demand, values being on a par with last week. Prices: Extrae choice ox £1 ss; choice and prime £l' to £1 4s; ordinary and plain 16s to ]9s; prime young cow and heifer beef 17s to £1 3s; ordinary cow Ils to 16s; rough 5s to 10s-; extra heavy prime steers £l2 to £l2 l‘ss; heavy prime steers £9 to £lO 12s 6d; lighter prime £6 15s to £S 15s; light and unfinished £3 15s to £6 10s; heavy prime young cows and heifers £5 5s to £7 12s 6d; lighter prime £4 to £5; other cows £1 to £3 15s. Sheep.—Prime improved heavy shorn wethers 16s 6d to 18s 6d; medium 14s 6d to 16s 6d. Lambs.—Heavy prime 16s 6d to 18s; lighter 13s 6d to 16s.
