HIGH PRAISE FOR McCONACHY. By Telegraph.— Press Assn.—Copyright London, Nov. 26. The Observer, commenting on the possibility of a Dominion player winning the billiards championship, says: McConachy impressed all good judges with his game. He had to master the difficulties of the ivories before he was regarded as dangerous to British players. To what extent he Las succeeded may be judged by his sound achievements against Newman. THE KING AT A MATCH. London, Nov. 26. The King witnessed an exhibition match of 650 up at the Marlborough Club, in which Reece beat McConachy.
