THE PRINCE IN INDIA.

A PICTURESQUE HUNT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Delhi. Nov. 24. The Prince of Wales had his first experience of Indian hunting in the shape of a buck hunt with cheetahs, organ used by the Gaekwar of Baroda and the Rajah of Kolhapur. It was picturesque sport, the hunters stalking the bucks in camouflaged carts accompanied by leashed and blind-folded cheetahs. The latter are released when the game is near enough. The run seldom exceeds 200 yards, which the cheetah covers with extraordinary swiftness, and then drops from exhaustion. Bucks were frequently seen, but were too distant to chase. The Prince and some of his staff dismounted and tramped several miles over rough country, shot akbtfck and returned to Baroda. The Prince later departed for Udaipur. VISIT TO'jLDAIPUR. Delhi, Nov. 25. The Prince of Wales arrived at Udaipur, and was received the customary Oriental ceremonies. He departs on Sunday night.
