At the mixed wool sale there was rather better competition than yesterday and fewer withdrawals. Prices were steady at about the opening level. The home trade are ths chief operators.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. Received Nov. 25, 12.30 a.m. Sydney, Nov. 24. The wool sales closed with an easing tendency in sympathy with the London marker. Poorer burry classes were largely neglected at declining rates. MELBOURNE HIDE SALES., Received Nov.' 25, 12.30 a.m. Melbourne, Nov. 24. Hides are generally unchanged, excepting kips, which are a halfpenny lower. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Received Nov. 24, 9.15 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 2-1. Oats.—-Algerian feeding 3s 3d, milling 3s 6d, white 3s 6d to 3s "d. Maize.—ss. Potatoes.—Old £5 10s, new locals Onions.—New silverskins £4, Spanish’ £6. Adelaide, Nov. 24. Oats, 2s 6d.
