THE LEAGUE GAME. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. ' London, Nov. 23. At League football the Australasians defeated St. Helens by IK points to 8. There were 5000 spectators at the match. The Australasians' choice was restricted by illness and injuries. The gaihe was fast, play travelling from end to end repeatedly. Ac times the crowd'grew indignant at the frequent Australasian infringements. At half-time the score was 8 to 3, Vest and Ryan scoring tries and Horder a goal, and Bradbury a try for St. Helens. In the second half Caples and Carstairs got tries and Craig a goal, while Goroley scored a try and MeGlogljn a goal for St. Helens.
