Last season’s operations of the Ngamotu Seaside Committee resulted in a profit of £432, which has been devoted to the liquidation of the loan on the pavilion and cottages. The official opening of the new dairy factory at Bell Block takes place on Saturday. The opening will be performed by Mr. Will Singleton, directu? of the dairy division. A luncheon will afterwards take place at the Bell Piock hall. In deference to another local fixture which had been previously announced for December 14, the New Plymouth Boys’ High School have agreed to hold their break-up ceremony on December 13, instead of the 14th as at first decided. The meeting of the lady members of the local Caledonian Society will be held to-night in the Soldiers’ Club at 7.30 sharp. The Girls’ Friendly Society, New Plymouth, are holding an “At Home” in St.; Mary’s schoolroom on Saturday next, 26th inst., particulars of which appear in our advertising columns.
