THE STOCK MARKET, - PRICES AT WESTFIELD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The following prices ruled at Westfield toBcef.—A goocj yarding, but prices eased considerably on last week’s quotations. A few pens of prime ox sold at 24s per 1001 b, but the bulk sold from 19s to 225; cow beef was hard to sell; extra choice Ox, 245; prime, 19s to 225; second quality, 18s to 15s; prime cows and heifers, IRs to 15s; others, 14s to 10s. Sheep.—A medium yarding, a good proportion being unfinished. All classes dropped from 2s to 3s per head. Prime wethers, 17s to 16s; good, 15s to 13s 6d; unfinished, 12s 6d to Ils 6d; ewes, prime 12s 6d• others 10s to 5s 6d. Lambs.—About half the number were penned, and prices firmed. Extra heavy, 235; prime, 18s to 13s Gd; others, Ils to 9s. Calves.—A great number of unfinished were penned, and were hard to quit. Good vealers met with a steady demand. Runners, £3 to £2 10s; vealers, £2 10s to £1 10s; fresh dropped, 7s to 3s. THE WOOL MARKET. LONDON SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received Nov. 23, 9.25 p.m. London, Nov. 22. At the mixed wool sale *12,940 bales were offered, whereof 4895 were Australian, 4410 New Zealand and 3283 Puntas. The selection was barely equal to the average. The attendance was good, but the tone was distinctly quieter, emphasising the weakness already exhibited at Hull and Liverpool. Prices generally showed a decline of about ten per cent, compared with October closing rates. Yorkshire buyers were the principal operators, France and Germany giving some support, and America doing nothing. New Zealand Kaputone brought 19%d to 15d. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETS. Messrs. A. H. Turnbull and Co. have received a cablegram from Messrs. W. Weddel and Co., Ljd.. London, dated November 18, In which they advise as follows: “Danish butter, 248 s to 2545. New Zealand butter: There is no alteration in the position; market firm. “New Zealand cheese: White, 94s to 106 s (last week 88s to 965). New Zealand cheese: Colored, 86s to 96s (last week, 84s to 88s).”
