PROHIBITION.
STATE CONTROL ISSUE. By Telegraph —Press Association. Dunedin. Last Night. At the Presbyterian General Assembly the Rev. W. J. Comrie (Wellington) said the prohibition party could have the elimination of the State control issue from the ballot paper at a price, but the price the other side had asked in its proposal to Mr. Massey was that a time limit of five years be granted. The prohibition party would not have the elimination of State control at that price, or anything like it.
