ARBUCKLE TRIAL READY.
OUTLDTF. OF THE CASE. THE PRINCIPAL WITNESSES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Nov. 18, 11.25 p.m. San Francisco, Nov. 17. The defence and the prosecution in the Arbuckle case outlined their plans to-day. Arbuckle’s attorneys declare they will establish, by medical testimony, that Miss Rappe died from natural causes, due to her weakened interna! condition. They will impeach the testimony of the principal State witnesses and attack the motives of the prosecuI tion. The State will call Mrs. Delmont, wh o swore the original murder charge; Dr. Strange, who performed the autopsy; Misses Preven and Blake, who participated in the party; and a chambermaid in the hotel who heard screams. The prosecution will establish a corpus delicti and prove that Arbuckle was the cause of death. It is expected the trial will begin tomorrow.
