EVERYBODY’S. ‘•THE WOMAN MICHAEL MARRIED.” A swagger society dinner party in a swimming pool, is one of the unique and attractive scenes in "The Woman Michael Married.” Bessie Barriscale’s most recent production at Everybody’s Theatre. Miss Barriscale, aquatic accomplishments have heretofore never been exploited, is revealed as an expert fancy diver and swimmer, and makes an extremely attractive figure in her "Annette Kellerman’s.” The production throughout is studded with ; sumptuous settings, noteworthy among them being a gorgeous Italian salon, in Rome, in which Miss Barriscale as a famous singer is given a reception by the Italian nobility and a luxurious lodge in the Adirondaeks. Jack Holt shares the honors with the star and furnishes a natural and likeable presentation of the young society blood who is rushed into marriage as a sporting proposition. The bill includes gazettes, comedy, and “The Lost City,” and also an interesting film of the New Zealand bowlers in their matches against Scotland and Cardiff. “THE VICTIM” MONDAY AND TUESDAY NEXT. Truth is stranger than fiction, and in the case of “The Victim,” which is the starring attraction extraordinary at Everybody’s next Monday and Tuesday. It is far more thrilling also. “The Victim” is based on facts and has a trenchant lesson in its five reels of thrilling intensity. The story of Father Cosgrove. parish priest, who is condemned to death for a murder of which he is innocent, yet round whom an incontrovertible array of circumstantial evidence has been built up, is one that will immediately raise public and popular interest. The priest’s lips are sealed by his vows, so that he cannot and will not 'disclose the name or circumstances of the murder revealed in the confessional. The intensity of the scenes as the time for execution draw’s nigh, while miles away a heroic girl is burning up the miles in a headlong race against time and the grim reaper, with the reprieve she has obtained at the last moment, are better imagined than described. Suffice it to say that nothing more gripping and human hjis been seen on the screen than this absorbing story of a man’s fidelity to his ideals. The picture was produced by the Catholic Art Association- The box plans are now open at Collier’s. THE PEOPLE’S. LAST NIGHT OF “PARTNERS OF THE NIGHT.’. The Goldwyn super-detective drama, “Partners of the Night,” 'concluding at I,the People's to-night, is easily the most amazing detectAe story seen for a considerable time. The featured artists are Pinna Nesbit and Wm. Davidson, and throughout its six' reels, the picture giips the beholder. Gazettes, comedy, and “The Diamond Queen.” To-mor-row’s change commencing at the matinee, presents Elaine Kammerstein in Selznick’s "The Miracle of Manhattan, and the opening of the big continued mystery feature "The Branded Four.
