TEST CRICKET.
TIME LIMIT QUESTION. By Telegraph.—Press Asan.—Copyrlgtt Received Nov. 17, 5.5 p.m. London, Nov. 16. The Yorkshire Country Cricket Committee agreed that it would be contrary to the best interests of the game if the tests were played to a finish in England, It would slow down cricket and also interfere with the county matches, which, were the backbone of English cricket. The position was different in Australia,, where there was so little first-das ft cricket that it was necessary to extend tests as long as possible.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
