BOWLING.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. OPENING OF NEW PAVILION. The official opening of the New Plymouth Club’s green and new pavilion will take place to-morrow afternoon, and the committee have been completing arrangements for the event. The pavilion Is a handsome building, and a decided’ acquisition to the club’s property in Courtenay Street. A big gathering of bowlers is expected, and about a dozen Taranaki clubs have accepted the general invitation to send a rink each. Play commences at 2 p.m., and the official function is to start at 2.30 p.m. In the evening a ladies’ night will be held at Kawaroa Bungalow, .when nkimbers’ wives and daughters are to be the guests.
