THE STOCK MARKET. PRICES AT WESTFIELD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. Last Night. The following prices ruled at Westfield today : Beef.—A big yarding; all classes showed a tendency to ease, and only in a few cases were last week's prices maintained. Extra choice ox £1 7s, prime £1 Is to £1 ss, plain 20s to 15s, choice cows and heifers I 20s to 15s, others 14s to 12s Ger. Sheep.—A full yarding; prices easier considerably, especially ewes. Extra heavy vathers 20s, prime ISs to 15s, others 14s Gd to 12s, ewes, prime heavy 13s 6d, prime Us to l-2s, others Ils to 10s Gd. Lambs.—Extra big yarding; prices suffered accordingly, all sorts being 5s to 7s lower than the previous week. Extra heavy lambs 18s 6d, prime 18s to 14s 6d, others 12s to 10s. Pi SS. —A fair entry; prices if anything bett«r than last sales. Baconers £5 to £3 153 choppers £4 10s to £3 10s, porkers £3 to’ £1 10s. Calves.—A good yarding; finished vealers sold well, others being neglected. Runners £3 5s to £1 15s, vealers £2 15g to 325, fresh dropped 8s to ss.
