CASES AT CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day the jury disagreed in the case against Archibald Lloyd, a. taxi-driver, charged with the manslaughter of Kathleen Mary Archer, aged 12, on the night of August 13, and a new trial was ordered. Robert Hanna, a farmer, of Balcairn, Was acquitted on a charge of the manslaughter of Robert Binnie on June 25. The parties were returning home in a gig from the Rangiora races, and through the alleged negligent driving of Hanna a collision took place with a motor cycle. Binnie received injuries when the gig capsized from which he died.
