'A detachment of Kachins raided the rebels alt Ktottaflkat and. captured a storehouse with 20,0001 b of paddy (unhusked. rice). The rebels are committing harrowing atrocities near Nanah, murdering the natives, setting fire to villages, and slaughtering cattle. Light, motor patrols are being arranged to escort convoys. A reinforcement comprising a battalion of Gharwhalis has arrived at Calicut.
