INGLEWOOD.

CONVENT CONCERT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Nov. 11. It is stated on absolutely first-class authority that a treat in the form of quite a new departure for this centre of farming and commercial activity is to be offered the public of Inglewood Borough and County on Thursday, December 1. On that day a matinee concert is to be given at 2 p.m. in the Town Hall by the pupils of the Inglewood Convent School, in aid of the funds of the school. Preparations for the event are well advanced, and, considering the many successes scored by pupils of the institution in numerous musical examinations, a real treat may confidently be expected. The full programme may be watched for in the columns of the News, wherein it will be published in due course. CRICKET MATCH. The cricket match, Inglewood v. Midhirst, played on the Inglewood ground on Thursday, resulted in a win for the home team on the first innings. Scores: MIDHIRST. Green, c Bullot, b Cutfield 6 Witherford, b L.
