BIG CONSPIRACY.

THEFT OF EXPLOSIVES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyrigtt. Received Nov. 11, 7-40 p.m. London, Nov. 10. A widespread conspiracy to steal explosives was revealed at Newcastle when three men and a woman were, charged with conspiring with Joseph Connelly, a no orious paid organiser of the Irish SelfDetermination League, who is awaiting trial at Cardiff on a similar charge. Documentary evidnece was produced relating to explosives, Morris tube ammunition detonators and machine guns, many of which were removed from one prisoners house and seized while in transit in a motor car. The woman was acquitted. Iler husband, Arnold Margett, was sentenced to one year, and Purcell and Barrington each to three years.
