A fair quantity of the Govern ment stock is going to the Continent, and quotations, therefore, are unaltered. There is good demand for “free” butter. Quotations: Best Australian, unsalted 188 s to 200 s, salted 174 s to 18Os; New Zea...nd, 200 s to 202rf. Cheese is firmer and in better demand. Quotations j New Zealand, white 90s to 965, colored 'Bos to 88s.
