AN EXPLANATION.

(Published by Arrangement.) (To tho Editor.) Sir,—Respecting my letter of last Saturday, I wish to withdraw tile statements contained therein. I find since that at the meeting of. the Mangorei Dairy Company their manager mentioned no names, either personal or companies. I should not Lave connected myself with these assertions, which I undoubtedly did owing to his having made a cream test for me about the same time. The figures he quoted, and number of tests made, in no way correspond with those in the above mentioned letter. The source from which I got my information was not correct, and to save any further correspondence I would be obliged if you would insert this letter.—l am, etc., GEO. BENNETT. Kent Road, November -7.
