INDIAN UNREST.

GOVERNMENT’S POLICY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Received Nov. 9, 5 J> p.m. London. Nov. 8. Lord Chelmsford, lecturing before the Royal Colonial Institute, referred to the non co-operation agitation in India. He said the question for the Government was whether they would allow it to fail owing to its intrinsic inanity, or take repressive action. The Government had decided on the former course. He was confident the Government was right, and the agitators were daily seceding to the Government. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
