QUESTION OF RECIPROCITY. PROVISION FOR “DUMPING.* By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Tariff Bill was briefly referred to in the House to-day. The Hon. W. Downie Stewart said the Tariff Bill which was being brought down would enable the Government to remove from preferential tariff any British Dominion which failed to give New Zealand favorable treatment. Provision w r ould also be found in the Bit l dealing with “dumping.” In this waj the Bill would meet much of the criticism which had been levelled against the new tariff. Mr. Massey said the provisions of the Tariff Bill would be explained to the House before the tariff schedules are dealt with.
