The offerings consisted almost entirely of new wools, and experts are of the opinion that they will be the heaviest and best ever- shorn in the Slate? Competition for all descriptions of merinos was keen with prices slightly advanced. Fine, free crossbreds also met with ready sale, at late rates. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
