New York, Nov. 5. “Pertinax”, writing to the New York Times, says: “France cannot find any better guarantee for her national security than close co-ordination in diplomatic and military action with that of Britain and America, and, although the Senate failed to ratify the June, 1919 convention, many people still adhere to the belief that both the London and Washington Governments will make their words good in one form or another. France must continue to be a military power strong enough to cope with any renewed outburst of German aggressiveness.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn.
