LAWN TENNIS.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The season opens tc-day so far as the New i Plymouth Club is concerned, though there will be no ceremony. The lawns will be ready ‘ for play to-morrow, and, as the weather ap- , pears likely to be fine, they will no doubt 'be made full use of. A combined competition is to be commenced early in December, for completion before the Christmas holidays, and members are to keep this in view.
