OPINION ON “NASH” CARS THE following extracts from an article taken from the English ‘•'AUTOGAR.” written by Mr. Owen John, the highest authority on Motor Cars in the trade in England, is instructive: — "I have lately been ueing a 6-cy’inder Car. better known in th? State-; than ove~ here, called the ‘•NASH.” and out again I find my-elf having to seek all the nicest adjectives I know of to Ct ite running. Standing at rest, or sweeping along at 55 mile- per hour, I cannot reSMmber a sweeter engine; its power is glorious, its a eierar-on swift without being violent, its picking-up abtlites all that could be desired, and nothing could be more elegant than the way in which, loot off the throttle, the engine comes into use as a brake. Of course it has an engine starter that is quiet, its lamps give plenty of light and do not rattle, its tyres are big. and its springing, when the weight in the car i» properly distributed, would be hard to improte. ‘•Fast and. quiet as it is on the level, I think its best point is on the hills, its seats are not nearly so uncomfortable as some others, and its doors shut easier and rattle less than most. “Under the bonnet, the engine lies in one long neat unobtrusive steel box. Everythlg seems closed in to such an extent that, were ft not for its appurtenances, such as the distributor, starter and radiator, there would appear no reason at all why any bonnet should be necessary. Like most of its brethren, it is an* posed to look after itself. Its power 3®'RJLC. -r. and its price I here is the staggerer) is announced as under £600.” The prices here for immediate delivery are: —1920. 5 and 3-seaters, £600; 5-seateru, £675.
