The Rarawa arrived late yesterday morning, too late to connect with any of the early trains. Besides passengers, the vessel carried 170 tons of cargo, including 48 of sugar. The vessel sailed again for Onehunga at 8.30 p.m. KAITUNA SAILS. The Kaituna completed discharging her Australian cargo yesterday and sailed for Wellington at 3.40 p.m. The vessel took 300 crates of cheese from here for transhipment to the Essex at Wellington. CORINNA TO-MORROW. The Corinna, has been delayed at southern ports, and is not now expected to reach New Plymouth until to-morrow. KABAMU’S MOVEMENTS. The Karamu left Timaru at 4 p.m. on Monday for Lyttelton, which port she was expected to clear yesterday. After loading at Wellington to-day the vessel comes to New nymouth and should arrive here to-morrow. WAIOTAPU REPORTED. The Union Company advised on Saturday, states the Dominion, that the Waiotapu, en route from Vancouver and San Francisco, left Apia on Friday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, New Plymouth, and Australia. The vessel’s freight consists of general cargo from the Pacific coast (San Francisco and Vancou-

ver), and includes case oil and timber. She is expected to make port at Auckland on November 9. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s inter-colon ? il passenger steamer Manuka arrived in the s ’ream at Wellington at 7.5 o'clock on Wednesday morning from Sydney direct. The Manuka brought 725 tons of general cargo, 102 saloon and 87 steerage passengers. The vessel had 1726 eases of fruit for Wellington, and 621 cases for Lyttelton. The transhipment cargo was ex Gracchus, Narkunda, Manilla, and Z<;.l, • iia. The Manuka will leave Wellington at 11 o’clock to-morrow morning on the return trip to Sydney. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise ’ that the Somerset is expected to leave Liver ■ pool on December 17 with cargo for Aucl, land, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chaim | RADIO FROM MATAKANA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company received a radio message from the Matakana, en route from Liverpool, stating that the vessel will arrive at Auckland at noon to-day. She will put out part cargo and then proceeds to Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. The vessel is due at Wellington on November 9. RARANGA AT AUCKLAND. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Rarangn arrived at Auckland on Monday night from Middlesbrough, England, via Panama. The vessel has cargo to discharge n» the northern port. THE NEXT SYDNEY BOAT. The Huddart-Parker Company advise that their inter-colonial passenger steamer Riverina will leave Sydney on Saturday direct for Wellington, where she is due on the following Wednesday.
