TOUR OF THE PRiKCE.
ARRIVAL AT GIBRALTAR. THE POSITION IN INDIA. PLANS FOR TROUBLE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Oct. 31, 12.35 a.m. London, Oct. 29. H.M.S. Renown, on which the Prince of Wales is travelling to India, has arrived at Gibraltar. The Australian Press Association states that authoritative cabled information from India indicates that preparation is most intense for an extremist campaign as a prelude to the Prince’s arrival. It is anticipated that the Congress Working Committee meeting at Delhi on November 4 will result in the issue by Ghandi and the extremist executive of a general order for civil disobedience. Meanwhile Ghandi’s arrest is being considered and while the Government is reluctant to take action its hands are likely to be forced.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
