The Rarawa is due to arrive from Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock this morning with passeng'ers and cargo. She will return north at 8.30 WHANGAPE DISCHARGING. The discharging of the Whangape’s cargo of rails from Newcastle is proceeding satisfactorily, and it is expected the vessel will be ready to sail for Napier this evening. CORINNA FROM SOUTH. The Corinna was scheduled to leave Lyttel-. ton yesterday, and should arrive here on Wednesday, after calling at Wellington and Nelson. She will load chaff at Nelson on Tuesday for New Plymouth. V’AIMATE LEAVES NEWPORT NEWS. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Waimate, whicli left Liverpool for New Zealand ports on October 8, arrived at Newport News on October 22, and left again the following day. POLSHANNON AT WELLINGTON. The British Imperial Oil Company’s steamer Pclshannon arrived in the stream at Wellington at 4.35 p.m. on We.dnesday from Singapore direct. The Polshannon brought 4000 tens of fuel oil and 90.000 cases of benzine, the greater portion being for discharge at Wellington, and the remainder at southern ports. The vessel left Singapore on October 4, passed Thursday Island on October 14, and Brisbane on October 18. Two days prior to :«rrl •• ! at Wellington a heavy southerly gale v;es. encountered. PORT KEMBLA FOR NEW ZEALAND. -Cable advice was on Wednesday received by the C. anil D. Line to the effect that the Port Kcmlila, which had been loading at Glasgow and Liverpool, left the latter port on October 22 for New Zealand ports. She is due to arrive at Auckland on December 1, and should intake port at Wellington six days later. The vessel will then proceed to Lyt-
telton and Dunedin to complete discharge, af ter which she will lead on rue New Zealanc coast for London, sailing finally about the middle of January of next year.
I CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST. R The Union Company advises that the R freighter Waihora arrived at Vr.noouver from Seattle on October 18, and sailed on the folI lowing day for Powell River and Oeean Falls I to load newsprint. She returned to Vancouver, and is fixed to leave there to-day for San Francisco to complete loading for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. WAIKOUAITI FOR SYDNEY TRADE. The Union Company’s cargo steamer Wikouaiti. which has been laid up at Port Chalmers for several months past, will be recommissioned at the end of this week. She completed loading at Lyttelton and sailed for Sydney on Wednesday. The Waikouaiti will subsequently load at Sy-lney and Newcastle for Fluff, Dunedin and Lyttelton, in place of the Wanaka.
