ARBITRATION ACT DISCUSSED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Matters relating to the Arbitration Act formed the principal business of the New Zealand Alliance of Labor to-day. The proposed amendments to the Act were discussed at length, and the position of the Labor assessor on the Court will be discussed by the conference. The question of nominating a successor to Mr. McCullough, who has indicated his intention of reaigning from the Court, to which he was recently reappointed, also came up for consideration.
