NOTIFIABLE DISEASES.
TWO UNUSUAL CASES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The tabulated return of notifiable diseases for the past week contains two unusual times, one being a case of beriberi (which is not infectious) and one of leprosy. The latter case is a Chinaman, who entered the Wellington hospital for treatment for a different complaint, and was found to be suffering from leprosy. He will probably be transferred to the little colony on Quail Island, Lyttelton.
